Hes the meanest fish I've ever owned, cannot clean his tank without being attacked. Hes always watching me, waiting for food, and waiting for me to walk by so he can bash his head into the glass and remind me that hes there. I think part of it comes from him having no shelter and being in such a busy part of my house, but that's my recipe for the perfect solo glass banger. One day I hope to breed him, but that will probably turn out disasterous unless its in a huge tank with a divider. He grew up with other fish though, and he never bothered the 2" petsmart "trimac" I kept with him after he had been solo for a few months so who knows, maybe he just hates people. I'm sure most people think the tank is small but it suits him well as long as I keep up on my waterchanges and he has rocks to move, hes happy. The only problem I've ever had with his tank was algae blooms and I solved that by painting the side that took in the most outside light. With around 100 fish, this guy is by far my only "pet fish." I'd probably never get rid of him unless I was offered something ridiculous like $500+. Thanks for reading my run on paragraph.
