Sorry I didn't read your other thread, I just saw your signature and meant to ask you anyways. I bet that is quite the sight. Seeing a 3" fish that isn't known to be super aggressive stand up to a 9" fish it technically isn't even suppose to survive with.

I'd say female for sure Liz, thats one beefy female though. I like yhte first picture a lot, crazy yellows.

Don't be mad Don, my black devils have been pissing me off for the last 2 months. Everyday I look for eggs. I thought today would be the day since I saw my male with a new female last night and the females tube was down and it was huge. Today I find the male with a different female.. WTF happened to the female that was ready to lay!? He just can't decide which one of his sisters he wants to get it on with lol.

Aside from that.. The 5 barred midas I got 1 week ago are growing way too fast. They won't be able to live in a 20gallon for much longer. I might have to take all but one to the next auction.

Thanks i think she is ready to lay eggs..acting different... too bad i don't have the male with her... but if he was i am prrtty sure he would wipe out everything else in the tank... :grinno:
