There growing steady, and the larger one's are just starting to get some orange colour on the lower half of there body's. Managed to get a pic with all 6 in shot.

Coming along nicely Andy. I bought a few from cichlids of the Americas about 7 months ago and got only 2 that survived. They just started to peel at about 5-6 inches. Not as nice as yours. Please update them with a YouTube video please. Love seeing your fishes and videos on YouTube.
More update pictures. These are of the same fish, taken a couple a weeks apart. First picture with the black marking is the most recent one.
Yes seems to, on this one in particular. It's the largest most dominant, and my favourite. I'm 99% sure it's a male.
Good looking fish indeed. Is that black common in larger cichlids? I have a maybe 2”-2.5” red devil that has the same black on him.
Its all part of the peeling process. Most red Devils will lose all the black as they mature. You do get the odd adult with black, but not that many.
