red eye bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you will have to go on a little road trip to get a redeye bass as for the pickerel go to sachs site

Well looks like we will have to wait for the warm weather to collect the redeye bass. Find the people who lives in Redeye bass's range. Or try other two species of small black bass: Gaudalupe and Suwanee Bass. Again they are not often offered to the hobbyists. I can't believe that I missed the Redeye bass sale back in the summer. IMO largemouth bass are most abused kept native fish because we often heard most people kept small LMB in smaller tank then release them back in the lake.

I know its tempting to take a little large mouth home, People have tanks plenty large enough to house them for now, But what do you do when they get Too big to keep anymore. No one wants to euthinize a fish theyve kept and fed and come to know as a pet, but the alternative which is to release that fish carries problems that most maybe dont fully understand. I would LOVE to have a redeye, but i already know i dont have the provisions to keep one til it dies, so i will just have to look at them online, and dream.

Therefore, Redeye, Guadalupe and Suwanee bass are better canditates for smaller tanks than LMB, SMB, MMB, spotted and shoal bass. Wish there are more breeders/ hatcheries to breed these mini bass for the aquarium purposes.
