Red Texas pair

they will not make good fry. Because they both don't look good. Just faded humpless and Not even red texas. Possibly got % of red dragon zz in them. Red texases not suppose to have two tone body like Red Dragons. They look like siblings too.
The parents look so not attractive for FHs or Red Texas. Ugly pearls.. and I guess nice yellow? Sorry but really, no. maybe the best one might be decent

Of course they are RT's, just not high quality specimens. RT's by definition are hybrid crosses, that have been fairly loosely defined over the years. This isn't exactly the AKC, where breeders hold papers of select blood lines, and use those as some kind of confirmation of quality or standard. When it comes to Asian hybrids, everything and anything goes when it comes to their production, with every breeder attempting to place their own stamp on a "new" creation within the class. Only fools believe otherwise.
Just keep in mind that while even a pair of relative duds can throw the odd superstar, AG is correct in stating that overall this pair is not going to produce quality fry.

I have seen very few red Texas with kok... but in any case even the highest quality fish will produce low quality fry... who knows how many don't make it to market... but these quantity breeders don't show case the pairs they breed so your guess is a good as mine.
Correct, millions of hybrid culls are flushed every year. And yes, you could very well end up with the odd superstar from this pairing. Good luck.
