Reed Fish (a.k.a. Rope Fish) in an African Tank?

I've gotten a 3rd since I posted in this. The cichlids don't bother them a bit. I've also put a clear beer bottle in the tank so they can get some relief from the cichlids if they want. Most of the time the biggest one just hangs out in the bottle while the others hang out in the darkness of the decorations.
