Removed All Bio-Media.....Replaced With 30 PPI Foam = Amazing Results!

Week and a half since last water change, Nitrates are only 5 PPM and water absolutely crystal clear! Seems nitrates are rising slower and slower even with the fish getting larger. Oscar is growing extremely fast and eating a ton, so it's handling a decent bio-load for sure!

Your tanks are amazing! For a canister filter I would stick to the marine pure spheres. That's the science not the hype imo.

Are you using the swiss tropical poret sponges.
After looking into it more I think you are on to something.
I like to use matala mats as dividers and will start to add poret to it!
