Reptile decor in a fish tank? PICS....

I would be a litle worried about what it is painted with. I used something similar once, rubber/painted rock and put it in my empty (of other inhabitants--not water) 12 gal for two weeks and then put in a couple of my tetras. It worked OK but I thought if the fish looked distressed then I could just take them out of the 12 and not risk a bigger tank. I know some of the decorations sold for terrariums and reptiles are not suitable for long term submersion because of what they are made of or painted with although odds are most will probably be fine.

Yeah you never really know with these things, I guess there's only one way to find out. I'll start with some cheap fish and see what happens. Its actually a Petsmart brand product, so those bastards probably put that warning label intentionally so you go and buy their more expensive aquarium decor

lol it busness and its point less to charge so much for aqurium stuff like a fulv 305 is 199$ crazy..lol

Ive actually seen someone use that exact piece in an aquarium...seemed to work just fine. Even if it were to leech somthing I dought it would be much and as long as you do water changes I think you would be just fine.

i was actually going to buy that for my tank but didnt cause it said not safe for aquariums
