I'm thinking about buying this next time my wife stops at Drugmart. It's only 25 cent per gallon. Only going to use it for a 40 breeder water change half r/o half tap. It would be cheaper than installing a r/o system and won't be any water wasted. I won't have to worry about higher water bill. The water unit sits outside the building which is nice imo.

Never seen those before. 20 gallons is still a lot to carry if its some distance.

I just noticed that you wrote 'half ro' so more like ten gallons to carry... I like the idea though. If I ever come across one in my travels I must try it out.

Today went to Walmart and purchased 2 5 gallon water jugs. After that went and bought 8 gallons of r/o water. The cost was more than 25 cents a gallon but still affordable. I tested the water with a tds meter and got a reading of 7 ppm.

We have Ro drinking taps/faucets at all work places here.
I take my 25L and refill it from time to time. I also use it on a single tank and occasionally on another as a trigger.
If I am asked, I tell them it is for projects at home that may be used in science lessons.
