I was told:
Iridescent sharks are fine in a 55g
Bala sharks are fine in a 55g
Bettas get a foot long
Gold saum green terrors are found in the wild
That i should look it up on yahoo answers
A midas and oscar as well as a GT will fit in a 55g

I usually ask questions like, will a oscar, midas and green terror be fine in a 55g? They say, yeah as long as you clean the tank once a month.

I asked my lfs what they had to remove scale,or calcium build up they told me to use CLR. Could you imagine using CLR on a fish tank,man oh man. I kinda felt like slapping that girl. Lol lol

to be honest, i do not go and ask advice of petsmart or lfs employees. i usually go in and buy what i want, already knowing the details and needs of the fish that i'm buying. i once purchased a tire track eel but the lfs employee was trying to sell me a freshwater moray eel. i don't go into the store to play "smart fish guy." i politely told her that morays are not true freshwater fish. we got into a detailed discussion about freshwater morays needing a brackish environment, at the least. i don't think it's fair to go into a lfs and ask questions for the sake of making the store clerk look foolish. they had the moray in the same freshwater tank that the tire track was in. i bought the tire track. by now, all of the lfs's in my town know me by face. they know that i'm not a rookie fish keeper.

god u are such a downer and one time i saw an iradecent shark and asked is this wild caught he said no its captive breed and it was bloody and had net marks all overit but was at a little boot leg store

Whaaaaat. wow thats real bad ,could you imagine a 12 yr old kid picking up an RTC and thinking it would never out grow his 20 gallon

I asked Pets at home (England) if they had any Dwarf Puffers (Carinotetraodon Travancoricus) and the clerk took me over to a tank which contained Archer Fish, which were labelled as Dwarf Puffers. After listening to the clerk talk, i said no thanks, told them the difference and walked out. I worked in a rival store to this store, so they know my face also.
