I have one about that same size....I would be very sad if it died. My tank would look so empty.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with the loss.:(

This is kinda weird....but what did you do with him? I was thinking if mine died I would get him stuffed and mounted.

sucks to hear that. :(
i have an aro that hasnt eaten in a month. :irked:
on another note
24" and 4 years old?
mine is 24 and a tad over a year old.lol
Mine was 18" at year 1, and grew to 24" at year 2. And just got thicker and taller.

BTW, I think mine only ate feeders a handful of times in 4 yrs. And some of them were wild caught minnows not goldfish.

Sorry for the loss. I almost feel like I have lost something though because of the beauty of that Aro. Man it has to be extremely tough for you right now. I mean I almost go nuts and later I shead some tears when I lose one of my babies. When me and my Dad lost our Bocourti pair of 14 years last december ( great christmas present! :( ) we balded our eyes out for a good 4 hours. I mena I grew up with the two my entire life ( I am 16) and my dad treated them like his birth children litterally. Man it was tough and I still shead a tear just thinking about them.
