Road Crew Finds Huge Fish Along Highway

This must be the worlds tallest police officer, over 7 foot if this fish is 60", aint no way. The fish is close to his body so there isnt any photo tricks to make it look bigger. Id say a good 40-45" with all the Grass Carp Ive caught.

A road crew in Springboro made an unusual find along the side of the street this morning... a five foot long dead fish.

Crews in that city, which straddles Warren and Montgomery Counties, were called in after a man found the carp along the street at Remick Boulevard and Settler's Walk Road.
Springboro Officer Dale Richter told our partners at the Hamilton Journal News, “I would just assume someone was late-night fishing last night, and it probably fell off the back of his truck,” Richter said. “There’s going to be a very unhappy fisherman, somewhere.”
Richter said the fish did not suffer any trauma indicating it had been hit by a vehicle and was too big to pop out of the sewer grate.

I was on my lunch listening to the radio and it came up about the carp, they it was 5 feet long and weighed close to 100lbs!

A Springboro police officer has a story to tell, but it's sort of fishy.

Officer Dale Richter was called to the intersection of Remick Boulevard and Settler’s Walk Road just before 7:30 a.m. on a report that someone found a fish by the side of the road.

The fish turned out to be a carp that was nearly 5 feet long and weighed about 100 pounds.

Richter said he suspects it fell off of some fisherman's truck on the way home from the Little Miami River or Caesar's Creek Lake. He noted that the fish hadn't started to smell yet when he found it.

Richter said the fish has been disposed of.

And I agree that the cop has to be 7ft tall. He's also 350ish pounds. And his squad car is really an SUV...or a monster truck, I'm not sure which.

Judging from the height of the car, I'd say he is at best 5' 3". They must have picked the shortest guy on the force to make the fish look bigger.
