my dull eye was about 3" when I got him and he's about 4.5" in the past year and change I've had it. lots of water changes, but otherwise nothing very special for him. driftwood in the tank and sinking wafers here 'n there. pretty sure he scavenges the pellet shards from my gars dinner.

I have had my dull eye for almost 2 years. I got him at 2", he is now around 4.5", so around an inch a year. I feed veggies every other night, plus algea wafers and whatever else he scavenges. He also has tons of driftwood to munch on. And I do excessive WC's. I've heard you can get crazy growth with a high protein diet, but it dramaticly reduces lifespan, so I would never attempt it
