Yeah looks like he probably got a little roughed up at the lfs or something. Usually that's how they look after being shipped. Doesn't take long to heal up. Bout a week or two. By then he'll be an inch or two longer lol.

He's feeling settled in I think. I was up at least every 2 hrs last night, and there he was cruising the front of the tank back and forth up and down.
I didn't realize how active they are after lights out... I'll be getting some moon lights soon...

Ya I find once those lights go out he's on the hunt. When mine eats tubifex worms and massivore pellets he like to shake his head like a dog tearing up his food. Eat and grow like hogs!

I have been dropping in Hikari Sinking carnivore pellets but I haven't seen him eat...the pellets are gone but I don't even know how big his mouth is...

Zen, wait till you see an RTC in the LFS... it'll be in your tank as well You hooked now... the big boyz are hard to pass up... and once you get the first ... they are impossible to pass up ...
