Wow. I can't imagine the frustration. Nice to see it paid off in the end though, looks good!
Thanks mate. I feel a lot of the credit does have to go to the missus tho, i don't know what i would have done without being able to climb in there. I have a bad knee so can't kneel to easily so wasn't thrilled at the thought of having to go in there myself. Plus she is literally half my weight! seemed safer!

Love the look of the tank now. The stand and top you made look great.

Caretaker sounds about right! I think all of my fish originally became mine because they were in tanks to small for them! Even my most recent LFS buys were mostly in 10gals.

Sump...........hmmmmmmmm........... I think i'll remember that for next time, there's 2 eheim 2217 flowing the tank now, gave one of them a clean when it was out for fitting the base in but hardley needed anything doing to it!

The V8 is an old 3.5 Land Rover unit, the original plan was to fit it into my old series Landy to replace th 2-1/4 4 pot that's in there now, but my dad's getting it as a Birthday present this year and doesn't wnt the V8 in there. Crazy:screwy:
