Didn't get as much done today as i wanted, i got the durso stand kind of built, I didn't have enough room for the 90 degree down part, but installed it with just the t, it still gurgles, but it is a little quieter. I also found 3 comet goldfish for cheap. they are in there now helping in cycle, and being my test to make sure theirs nothing toxic in there that will kill my fish. I still need to paint, and do the knobs, but the rest is done.

Tank with the comet gold fish.

I think you have the record for the fastest completed build.

Looks great.

Haha yea I've had to work pretty fast, and every little hiccup along the way has sure made things stressful. I'm finally glad to see it's holding water and that my fish made it over night with no problems. I will paint it today because I really don't have a choice, I need to attempt to get it to my school tomorrow, Thursday at the latest.
Here's a picture with the lights on. I'll get more once painted.

Well it's finally done. I have to move it to campus to be graded either today or tomorrow, due tomorrow at 1:30. Then on the 6th I can have it back. This is not how its going to stay decorated. I stole the fake plants, and the driftwood out of my 55 gallon. I also have some other logs, and real plants to go into it as well. My gf made me let her pick out the knobs since she has to look at it. I actually like what she picked out.

The entire tank, finally painted. Sorry for the cloudy water, the sand is still settling a little.

And one last apology for the crappy pictures. After the like 11thish, when I get back to Charlotte and have my real fish in it, I'll use a real camera instead of a cellphone and work on better pictures.

One last issue I need to work out. I lost one of the goldfish due to it swimming over the overflow and getting trapped. Any suggestions on what I can use to prevent this happening with my other fish?

Without digging back through the thread to know exactly where your overflow is I'd say Gutter Guard. If you can hide it from view. You can pick some up at walmart for pretty cheap.

Holy moss balls, you raced through that project and made it look easy. Turned out nicely.

Unfortunatly bc of how fast I had to go, there are lots of craftsmanship errors that I don't like, but from a distance she looks great lol.
