after looking more at the cyclone thats impressive it doesnt use a cartridge has a glass polisher type and traps everything down to 10 microns as well as 130's GPM capicity ...dont tknow why it would be a prefilter though seems like you could use it by itself hmmmnnn
Here's a side pic of my 750 gallon tank. Pretty clear water and I had a huge bio load. Two dolphin amp master pumps- 2500 and a 3000 gph. I have the smaller Ultima filter and wet dry sump with Matt and bio media. No UV light on this system and it stayed clear due to low light levels. View attachment 1068249
