I’m looking for some help identifying the species of a severum I just got and any good sources on severums and their different species as well as sexing them. This one I got was listed as a Heros severus but my understanding of severus is that they have a partial stripe and the one I got doesn’t have that. I don’t have where exactly it was collected from I was only told South America, but that’s the only place severums come from so it isn’t much help. Sorry for the blurry photos this guy is still new and very timid so I can’t get near the tank without him hiding.
