Happened to me interested to know. It comes and goes. I think is due to excess food consumption but thats a theory I have. All my flowerhorn are fine except the ones that consumes too much too fast.

Huh, mine does eat his 6-7 pellets in two bites lol. Maybe your theory is right.

Hes breeding right now so he hasn't been eating as much and guarding. Hes nice he eats a lot and then goes back to guard duty and lets his gf eat lol
