should i euthanize my fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I found putting a fish in a blender and pressing puree does the job and I can't imagine a feeling a thing if someone put me in a blender and pressed puree. Most probably think I'm sick for saying this......but seriously think about it.

heh i didn't really think of it that way lol... but i do like to use my blender from time to time for food and well even after a good cleaning still not sure if i wouldn't do this:barf::yuck: i do eat fish alot but not in a puree form...:hitting:

the bag against the wall method is a quick and effective way. its just not a nice thing to do to a pet fish. but i think its smarter than going to the market.

the only time i would buy clove oil is if i had to sedate my fish or if i had to put down my fish during early phases of death. if hes at the brink of death then theres no point in buying clove oil. it depends on the situation.

lol and whats with the blender discussion. thats such a evil thought.

Well I am glad the fish is not suffering anymore. It is always sad to see them go, but I think its worse to see them suffer. I am sorry for your loss.

I know the fish is already dead...to euthanize if you don't have clove oil don't use the freezer method it don't kill fast enough. Do you seriously think that a fish wouldn't feel being blended?... much less a human?:screwy: What if the fish hits the blades caudal fin-first? Then you're going to have to blend it's whole body before its even dead. Sounds pretty damned excruciating to me. I can't imagine dropping that fish down on the blades before you started the process would feel too good either...

Edit: Also, I would not enjoy my next few blender-concoctions either...:barf:

actually blending a fish is super quick. Wasnt there a lawsuit on this when some show did it. And they ruled in favor of the person because as soon as the blender was turned on the fish was literally in millions of peices.

Go put your finger in a blender and turn it on. Would you feel your fingers being shredded and be in insane amount of pain? No your nerves are severed and wont be in pain. My finger was crushed by a 10 ton press a few years ago, it happened so fast I never had pain. Doctors put in 13 stitches with NO Novocain. If you have a blender big enough, put that puppy on high and blend.
