nice tank dude!!

Successful Breeding in my African Dwarf Cichlid tank. I am having Juliedochromis and Leleuipis and the Julies having a successful breeding pair. Somehow am seeing only 1 fry, and I may have accidentally removed some eggs before unknowingly.

I hear that I need to be now more careful with aggression etc, so having a backup tank ready for the pair, will move if any issues observed.

So far the community is fine, except the occasional chasing of anxious visitors, by the proud parents.

Sharing a pic, Fry is within the star, proud parents can be seen just above.. I am unable to take the better pic, parents blocking me as soon as I come near the tank :-)

Am enjoying my calvus which were purchased from LFS as young tiny juveniles with the intention of keeping for life! They are super slow growers and enjoy shells, caves, are predators and are tanganikans. They have finally started to put a bit of weight on. Weekly large water changes and feeding twice a day has helped. Am presently keeping 2 gold heads and 1 black ink fin C8670C1D-A63C-46CF-9202-B8D2BACDB9FE.jpeg542703B3-6888-4B78-9DE1-5D3BE3493253.jpeg
