my atf. just to make sure, is this the genuine goliath tiger?

it kind of looks like it, but at the same time it doesnt. it def. looks juvenile maybe thats why it doesnt look all the way there yet. its a characin. its tail is just an interseting color very skinny feed that thing more.

how fast do they grow ?
what size tank do you keep the fish in ?
does the fish have tank mates ?

was just wondering how long it would take to get to 4ft as a 4ft+ and teeth like that i wouldnt want to scare the fish when i was doing a water change

your a wimp then these fish will jusst dart away from you. dont worry about the water changes, you wont get nipped, 4 ft long hah ytour gonna need a tank thats that wide twice the length i dont think its happenin unless you have a HUGE And i mean huge aquarium

where are the pics?

i have mine with a ray and it eats more, and it eats frozen foods since i added the ray. thats wird fish just really do have personalities. seems like the ray made my pike feel like it had competition so its striving now

all i said was mine is an african pike. thats it. and thats what it is. so i posted a pic...its a link. check it out. i dont really care. but you should check out my tiger muskie, im gettin pics soon

Is that a tiger pike or just a tiger fish? Im asking cause my lfs has a tiger pike that looks like that. I was thinking of getin it for my 150

well yours is not a true pike. its a south american pike cichlid. thats what you have your fish is not from africa. cool fish i had one they act like cichlids and have a big appetite.

some damage on your gatf mouth... but dun worry it will heal... should see my 10" one used to lost it front teeth top and bottom now all got teeth..
