Yeah luck too... thats probly the bigger factor.

Im not the biggest GATF lover... I like the Vittatus. Teeth are not as showy but the personalitys are way different. My Vitt swims to whatever side of the tank I am at asking for food. My old 14" Goliath would stay in one place till the lights were off:irked:.

If I can get a small school of Vittatus, then I will get 1 GATF again:D

I should start a VATF thread since I cant post here cause im on the other side of the ATF:cry:.......:D

Just start a atf thread..not just vatf...as some i consider unknown atf till it is bigger for better ID.. I also like vatf too...each got their own + point...

Hello there! We are a German filmteam and would like to film the Goliath Tigerfish in a huge aquarium or tank. Anyone having a big fish in a big aquarium?

Hey guys I'm new to this. Tigerfangs, I just bought a goliath tiger fish, or at least that's what I was told. Would you please be able to tell me how I can make sure its a GTF? Its about 5" . Thanks!
 
How rude of me...Greetings to all! I'm just anxious to find out if it really is a GTF. If anyone knows how i can tell the difference please get back to me.. I will upload a pic asap but the bottom of its tail is red and he seems to have the mouth of the GTF
