Love that spotted one. It's more typical to see that pattern only on old adults. None of the fish are sexually mature yet but I'm guessing there are 5 males and 2 females at this point. Still hard to tell. Ordering more of these soon in hopes of winding up with a better M/F ratio.

Yes, the panaques are my fave genus. Can't believe I don't even own one hypancistrus!

BTW, that Uaru is about 11" now and I sold him to another member on MFK. Would rather have gotten some panaque for it though.

idon't know what you have breed but if you are a beginner to breed plecos dont start with panaque.

Arghh! That uaru looks perfecto. Couldn't have parted with it myself. Can't figure out why some call them "poor mans discus". Not exactly cheap!
