WOWOWOWOW real nice plecos! EXPENSIVE LOOKING! Heck i can only afford a 4 1/2 inch gibescus pleco (if thats how you spell it) I reaaaly like big plecos though

Thanks for the comment. Now that you mention it he DOES resemble a panda teddy bear. He's an L-56 Parancistrus aurantiacus. Common name is the chubby pleco.

and here i just thought you named him Chubby..he is really really awesome and i am going to look up info on him... if i ever come across one i would definitly be loving to bring it home...
 
here is my bristlenose pleco. he/she has this coloration sometimes and somethimes he looks normal. the second pic is of him when he looks normal

i think you guys are wrong..

the L273 only had color on the tail and dorsal fins. The baby i picked up has it on the tips of all of the fins.

Thats true..davo will be able to zero in on it... he is for sure a nice pleco. ! ...well i know scarlets have yellow hooded eyes, the body is brown covered in pronounce black spots..much of their dorsal fin is red/orange and top half of their caudal fin and bottom edge of spine is scarlet color.. the belly is creamy beige..your babies eyes do look lighter colored ..
