Yes! I am trying to do the same thing? They are on the restricted list? Also working on the L046 zebra pleco's! I have two right know?

my friend has 5x l397s and 3x tanks of zebras. His zebra colony aged out of breeding age and he is working on re establishing it. He is also breeding long fin super red bristlenose(my source) and is working on claros along with several others. His fish room is to drool over
 
To establish a breeding colony of zebra plecos would be quite an investment. Very pretty Plec!!!
 
the 1st time I met him I was picking up a pair of long fin green dragon bristlenose and he showed me his zebra colony that had atleast 20 adults and probably 30+ juveniles it was insane
 
Yes! That is the nature of this hobby? The breeding of these pleco's are very inportant because they have been placed on the indanger list!
