Do you have a trap? Can you get pictures of them close up head, birds eye, and side view with dorsal erect?

Eventually I'll get some definitave side by side shots of these in outdoor lighting and cross my fingers that they don't get too pale from freakin' out in the process. You were right about handling these out of water. Much more feisty than panaques!

Yeah, very difficult to do. I would just use a fish trap and hold them in that under a bright light. no flash. that will be the easiest.

yea i got lucky i think, i didnt even choose the specific one (normally they let me just catch one). thanks for your kind comments. just feed plenty of protein, with a varied diet and all plecos can look good, im sure of it!
