Shubunkin Goldfish

Hi all how are you??? I recently bought a shubunkin goldfish this past tuesday at walmart. They told me that he will grow to 6'' is this correct?? He is eating like a pig. He eats goldfish flakes, etc... He shares his 35 with 4 fancy goldfish, 4 comets, and 1 baby koi,and 1 pleco. I am currently let building a pond for these goldfish. Will he be allright to go in there?
If you want you could post some pics of your shubunkins. I will be posting mine soon.

they will grow to 12'' in a pond. i used to have three in an aquarium, the largest of which was 11'' long when he died.

Is the pond going in this spring? That 35 is a little cramped. A Shubunkin can grow up to 12" w/proper care. I have a dozen or so in my pond and they are super healthy and a great pond fish.

Wow thats pretty... yes I am going to be using one of those kid pools until 2010!

How fast do the shubunkin grow? I have two right now that i got about 2 months ago and have only grown about an 1". Is that typical growth or what. Thanks
