My 55G tank has white "lines" on the silicone seams.
The seams look fine from the inside and when I touch it, everything is one continunous smooth seams without any hole or spot.

The tank is 3 year old.
Any ideas why there's white spots/lines? Should I be worried?

I know nothing of glass past re sealing… some tanks i did myself had air gaps in the silicone like this and they ran fine while i had them. Backfromthedead Backfromthedead may be able to offer some better insight 💀🤙

That looks to me like the glass on the inside was cut rough or sheared off while cutting, and what you're seeing are where the obtuse edges are pressing up against the other pane. They dont appear to be air bubbles imo. While its not the neatest job, the silicone looks to have cured well and the seam looks functional, just keep an eye on it to make sure the little gaps dont expand.

Ive had several DIY tanks with seams like that, was this tank a custom or DIY job?

It's a Fluval Aquarium, 55 Gal, neither DIY, nor custom
It's the first time I notice these marks, I have pictures now so I'll be able to see if the gaps expand.

Thanks Backfromthedead Backfromthedead for your comment, I'll keep an eye on it. 👍
