Idk. I just would prefer to meet someone in person shouldn't be an issue having cash if met in personAhhh I was thinking that. What about Venmo? Is there any worry about money being counterfeit?
Ty! Lot of people in socal have massive tanks and ponds just a matter of finding someone that wants him and sees the valueYou'd need one hell of a tank to house a wels properly.
Buy up the local community swimming pool maybe.
Good luck selling to whoever owns that monster aquarium
If I won the lottery, Wels would be the first thing on my list. Absolutely love their long bodyshape. Wouldn't even know where to get one here in the UK, certainly a rare offer.Ty! Lot of people in socal have massive tanks and ponds just a matter of finding someone that wants him and sees the value
Best part is In the UK I dont think there is a ban on them so should be able to still get one for a decent price. I'd contact some pond management places (like places that stock ponds) or fish farms I'm sure they would have some. Here in the US they are now protected under the lacey act meaning you cant import or export them or travel across state lines with them. You can still have them just cant move across state lines with them. Only a few handfuls were imported here as far as my knowledge goes.If I won the lottery, Wels would be the first thing on my list. That may be somewhat of a good thing to ban in a sense..Best part is In the UK I dont think there is a ban on them so should be able to still get one for a decent price. That's a whollllleeeeeeee nother worm hole lol. I dont believe any fish should be banned. Here it's supposed to be a free country. What I decide to do shouldn't be anyone's business lol. But again that's not to offend anyone. That can be an entire different 500 page thread lol. I do have mine in a 10ft X 6ft pool and do intend to build a 16'x8'x4' but at the same time my family wants to move in the next 5 years or so so idk if that makes much sense anymore to do that. If I was able to find a way to somehow get a pass to move states with the fish that would be the ultimate goal. That may be somewhat of a good thing to ban in a sense..
Less imported Wels means less fish that suffer similar stunted fates like their red tailed tropical cousin.
I can't even afford something to hold an Asian arowana.. let alone the monster lengths Wels have achieved. Anyone whos achieved that level of care is both impressive and potentially a tad bit mad!
