No. Too small of a tank. Think more than one will require 240g plus easily. See what TheWolfman suggest.

No species of Cichla can live in a 125 for life. Kelberi are the smaller of the species. A 180 would be a bare minimum for them and would last 2 years, maybe more. A 240 would be better but they really need a wider tank because even Kelberi get quite large at 20”.

Didn’t plan on keepin one in a 125 for life just wondered how long till it needed upgraded but I’m prob not gettin past a 180-200 any time soon so no bass for me
