A couple of years ago, when Daphne was only 2, she decided she was going to show me how much she loved me when I reached in for her water dish. I now have the coolest tattoo ever:

Yeah back when my mom bred show rabbits, she had to tattoo IDs in their ears, and she still had the ink. It was her idea actually.

Nice... if I tattooed all my bites, then people can see how nasty a Burmese bite is.

 with some snakes, you may as well just dip yourself in ink lol. It's a cool idea, there are a few people that do it.

oh man...Burms have those really long teeth don't they? I've heard some bad stories.

Good thing it wasn't an adult, it would had been deeper, bigger and scarred! It still doesn't look that great in comparsion to other snakebites you see by other snakes.

Anyway, how did your mom tattoo them? My friend want to do it now... haha.

The rabbits? You buy this set with the hardware and ink, and you get a clamp and these little tiles with pins sticking out in the shapes of numbers and letters. You arrange the tiles in the clamp and squeeze them in the rabbit's ear, then rub the ink in. The rabbits are not too fond of it...

yeah and since they'd stopped bleeding a couple of minutes earlier, I was afraid the ink wouldn't set in, so I left it on all day. That was also the day my girlfriend (wife tomorrow afternoon!) took me to NC to meet her family. They're not snake people, and I'm not "them" people, so we shouldn't be bothering each other too much :)
