Hi everyone hope you guys are doing well. I just wanted to ask u guys a question I saw a redline snakehead at a pet store and I'm really interested to buy the fish. I just wanted to know are they compatible with oscars, green terrors, flowerhorns and sun catfish. The pet store dealer had kept them with other fish like goramis and other African Cichlids. But I just don't want to do something that can distrubt my aquarium. The sizes of the snake heads are 3-4 inches. Any kind of feed back would be appreciated. Thankyou

They are not compatible with anything, All of the above will eventually make excellent feeders for the redline/giant snakehead.
It'll probably start off timid overpowered by cichlids when young, IF it doesn't find a way to escape it'll hide until one day it feels large enough to kill everything, then it'll kill everything over night.
Yea terrible fish IMO, their illegal in the US and i think UK as well, grow huge, can only be housed with another snake head, messy eaters, VERY aggressive.
They are not illegal in the UK nor, thank God, anywhere in Europe....
Channas are for the most oart incompatible with other fish, channa s with channas the worse ( save for some species, young Red Giant Micros included in this latter group )
I would only add to what Devon said, that I do not believe a young Micro would survive in that setting. They are very shy and gragile untill they hit a certain deveolpment point, ( about 20/25 centimetres ) where, if they make it, they are the representation of the devil in the tank...
If you really want to keep a Snakehead and have room to setup a small species only tank, I believe that Channa Gachua and Channa Punctata are native to Pakistan. Both fish should stay under 12".
