Oh i hate common names wtf is chevron snakehead ?

google says chevron snakehead = Channa striata,

Your fish is NO striata, it looks as its from the stewartii complex

What are the brown colored plants in the tank? They look really good with the sand. Very nice snakeheads as well mate!

Hi,

it seems to me that these brown "plants" are the roots of Pistia stratoides
I use this plant a lot.
Here behind the orientalis



Its a floating plant (the big light green leaves)


Here is one in bloom waiting for the bees
