i think the difference in head shape for this species indicates sex. my other 2 true blues have a sharp and pointed head, typical of most channa species. I think those 2 are female and this one is male

what a beautiful stewartii brucki. are the fins on those channa naturally long or are you feeding him something? I've heard that feeding insects increases the fin length on channas

Hi M8,

as I am working abroad, this fish is mostly fed by pellets. The highness is optical increases by the slimness of this guy. But I try to fatten him a bit up in the last few weeks. When I am home he gets food every day (for 5 days) then I am abroad for two weeks, and he gets once or twice a meal in that time.

gorgeus that blue guy you have. I like the white fin tips, the black ribbon and the rred eyes.
