check out this unique variety of green asian aro! the Nami Green arowana (Nami is the name of the town origin accdg to owner's article). this one is owned by Max Loo, pic from arowanaclub.
The origins of the Nami green is from the northern regions of Malaysia. It's quite rare & recently prices have been sky rocketing. I do know of at least one farm that has a few of these fishes. Will use them as brood stock but the results will not be seen for at least a few years. I have also been told that Nami greens have a different requirment for upkeep & can be harder to keep then normal greens.
Recently there was a batch of baby greens apparently from Cambodia. We were wondeing if they will grow up to be similar to the Namis. Will update in a few months the progress of this batch of fish.
