Thanks for posting these. Specific habitat information is something I am always longing to see. Such a contrast of water clarity, are all the pictures of Rio Mamoni, just different sections or are some of side streams or other?
Not all are Rio Mamoni.
But the diffeence have to do with seasonal changes.
Just after the rainy season, water rages, overflowing some banks.
After a few month of the dry season, island appear, and in some places the river is only inches deep, and barely flows, expect in the deep areas.
Halfway between, rocky banks are exopsed but there is still significanr flow.
