Yea, took me a few hours and 3 stitches to take an old 150 gal apart. Should take about a day to do both tanks as long as you don't bleed to death

I tend to be accident-prone when it comes to stuff like that....

I was thinking about taking my leaking 55 and doing a plywood/glass corner tank. Plywood for the bottom and sides against the walls, with the 4' glass panels for the exposed front panels. Should end up around 220 gallons.

Me either.... I've even sewn my own hand up before. It's not that bad to tear apart a tank though.... Just take your time and use the correct tools.

I would tear up a 15 gallon with a cracked base, cut and rebuild a tank but my dad, even being a DIY master, vehemently objects building a tank. Yay

Current residents in a 55g grow-out, moving several to a 75g this weekend and keeping the smallest in the 55g lightly stocked. Having some water quality issues even though i have 130g of filtration on it, these guys just eat like pigs. Friend is coming by Feb 3rd and we will be installing a few sumps

75g peaceful SA tank w/ a few random CAs, Jewels, Asian (and 1 African hybrid) catfish and cyprinids. 150g of filtration.
