WoW, thats amazing! great work so far
My IN-LAWS live in Joliet, so some time in the future, you could open up your own aquarium display and I'll bring some beer as admission to watch the fish you pick out to stock it with.

Be interesting to see how long it takes to fully cycle a tank that large....

I finally have enough people coming over to help me set it on the ground, put the driftwood in (which I attached to 65 lbs of slate rock), and put it back up on the stand. I'll reattach the top braces tomorrow and fill it on Wendsday. I'll start the plumming early next week.

CHOMPERS, I apprieciate the offer of pvc, but I think it would cost more to ship than buy, but thanks anyway. MFK'rs are the best.

For those of you in the area who are interested in seeing it, PM me and we'll work something out, but bear in mind that this still may take awile to complete, and if you want to see the work in progress, that would be ok too. I'm sure I could put you to work.

That is an awsome project  !!! As i was looking at yours i was motivated to start a project of my own for my new house. I hope to be in by the begining of 2007 so i am a long ways off. I do have a cpl of ???. How did you calculate your glass thickness, and what are you going to use as substrate? i could always use this time to grow out some awsome SA/CA cichlids though. OUTSTANDING WORK I cant wait to see that full of incredible fish. GO MAN GO!!!!!

Sweet little setup, I would love to see some pictures when your done! You need a red aro in that tank. You could put some stingrays in there too.

It's holding water. No leaks. I'll leave it filled until Friday night just to make sure. I'll try to add a few pics after work today.
