Trying to build my post count so that I will have access to pictures. I currently have a 125 gallon FW. Had a 33 gallon SW when I was stationed in Japan. Now I am researching a DIY plywood aquarium. An interesting question was brought up earlier in the thread about a glass corner. If you had an "L" shaped tank, lets say 96" on one side and another 72" on the other, what type of support would you need for the corner. Using a stout piece of angle iron on the top and bottom, could you simply silicone the two pieces of glass to each other?

pm me if you're gonna do something with metal..

and what a kick@$$ job dude... I'd like to see a nice wide view with it lit up!!

how many water changes to get it to clear up???? 1000?

that tank is awsome, good progress shots., and if you cant get those gt's to breed in there then i'll run around naked for a week...well i might just do that anyway.

your pump look like mine, just a bit smaller... (thats a qwarter)

jack dempseys? I have a bunch of JD babies right now.. thinking about letting them grow instead of selling them off

awesome tank! I like your ck, too

They are vented. I drilled a hole on top of the 90deg elbow. They did keep up, but it seemed to be about the max, so I put in the 1.5" to prevent overflow incase of a partial clog.

Very impressive set up. I always thought about doing something like that, just never had the balls(so I run big ugly rubbermaid tubs instead:irked: ). It looks great though bro. I might have to check that out in person sometime, see how it all fits together. Good work. Drink yourself a guinness for a job well done.
