The Uarus are nice cichlids. Their colour will change as they grow bigger and I believe they should reach the 10 inch mark. Here are some info about the Uaru:

Currently, it about 26 degrees and very sunny... too sunny. Some rain would be so much welcome.

Not sure what the weather has been like down there but it's not rained up here for about 2 weeks:headbang2
