This little girl lives in my enclosed patio... I found her while gardening today and thought Id put her in the patio where she could be free of those bastard brown anoles and live happily off crickets that I feed her. Im gonna go herping tomm see if I could find her a man.

That thing is cool! I thought a green anole was the result of eating at Taco Bell.

You rocks man! Kinda sad you don't see anoles much anymore. Last time I went to Florida in '96, I didn't see any. Most of the Anoles I have seen are Brown Anoles, and a species that I haven't quite figure out -- it was completely black with a deep red throat fan and it was slightly bigger than 8 inch.

I saw a couple when i was there in 2002, if we are sharing experiances :D
Good luck in finding a mate

I saw about 450 today and nearly fell down the stairs outside trying not to step on them lol. They're still here in force, although you see the brown anoles more than the green. Also, the big ones with the red throat fan are most likely cuban crested anoles. I used to feed the brown ones to my oscars when I was younger.
