Haha yeah, i dont really mean to discourage you, i think if you have the means to do it go for it! Wolf eels are awesome too! Do you commercial dungie fishing?
 
No not comercial for at least 12 years.
But i love sport fishing,just got back from Banfield B.C off the West Coast of
Vancouver island. We Caught 6 King Salmon or Spring as we call them up here over 35lbs
and2 over 40lbs bunch of smaller ones. And 1 230lbs Halibut.
 
Cool, i love sport fishing too. How big are the dog fish u catch inthe traps?
 
The dogs I usualy catch while trolling bait for salmon and are any where from 14 inch
to 3 feet.

West of Vancouver island they can be up to 4 1/2 feet long.

they sure mess up your gear, cut right through it.
 
In that case - go with it. Just make sure you have a large enough tank.

for smaller specimens - say 14" to 24" go with a 10 ft diameter pool(about 1,700 gallons).

For larger specimens - say 24" to 36" - make it a 12 ft diameter(about 2,500 gallons).

And for specimens over 36" - make it a 15 ft diameter(about 4,000 gallons).

You'll need a very large chiller.
