Thanks Dave. I've been toying with the idea of ditherfish in my Oscar tank, but I suspect they'd become lunch on a regular basis.

Funny you bring up dithers. I have some real old big silver dollars in the 110. I love'em. Want some for my bigger tank but pretty much impossible to find large ones.

I had huge SDs for 10~14 years but they never bred. Not that I was really trying to breed them, but not once in all those years. . . .

Update
Had to get rid of little dave
sent him along to join other red Teddy
So now another MFK member owns these fish
little Dave tried to dominate the tank pestering cichla

I have learned a lot the last year and will continue to learn
So now have 1 tank with two tiger oscars that get along great
hopefully It stays that way

Trying to have an Oscar “ harem” was fun but not to be. Interesting trip though
