This thread is truely awesome. I think you need to put together a little book of how you exactly did this and cost breakdowns. I know that this thread has it, but a book with all of this information would really a ton of people in building something like this (cough cough, not talking about me of course :) ) great work!

now that you bumped it theres a lil update.lol
i didnt screw down the top boards so now there all warped.
i got bricks on them to try to straiten them up.
but it looks like i will be buying all new wood for the rim. :irked:
should only be like 20 or 30 bucks but that sucks.lol

also, after im done playing with my new 240 im going to start on the overflows, returns and finish up the filter.
so keep an eye out in the next few months
;)
oh and i asked for a pond liner from santa so we will see. :grinno:

How big of a liner do you need?
i think i need like a 20x10 or min about a 18x9
thats for the pond and the filter.
plan to get the 25year warranty stuff.
im sure the thinner stuff would work but might as well get the good stuff.
:)

very nice, definitely keep us all posted, can wait to see it up and running (im sure you can't either though)
