First post! I am hoping to do something similar that you are doing. Was it time consuming or was it just hard to find the time? Have you filled it up yet?

figuring out the lil things took some time.
but mainly its the lack of money :irked:
no liner to fill it up yet.
hopefully this summer it will be filled

I was tossing this idea at my wife but she convinced me to start with a kiddie pool and see If I keep interest .. then its my call all around. She doesnt realize that when I was growing up 8+ I had fish tanks and kiddie pool ponds. Keep up the good work. Off topic, Have you tried netting up into the palm beach area. There are some canals near fish farms there that have shown tetras and all kinds of tropicals.?

never netted that far north or heard the tetra thing. :)

and if ya want to start small.
