starting my 70" long, 46" wide, 25" tall build. so far i have bought the wood, had it cut @ a woodworking shop, 100 wood screws - its all they had, more on order, should be next friday before they get here. 1 tube of DAP 3.0 silicone, and 1 tube of LOCTITE Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive. still calling around on the 65"x21" pc of 1/2" glass. cheapest so far is $146, but they have to order it - so may take a while, which is ok by me, im not in a major rush. still haven't figured out how to build a diy sump, overflow, and not figured out heating yet either. so if u have any step by step plans for that plz lemme know.

so far the price list is as follows:
3 sheets 3/4"plywood - $18.99 a sheet.
1 tube DAP 3.0 silicone $6.49
1 tube LOCTITE HD CA - $2.99
100 wood screws - $3.49
wood working shop - $20.00

$89.94 so far - not to bad imo.

here is a couple pictures of the wood, and one pictures is of the bottom, sides, and back just standing up - not glues or screwed yet, just getting a general idea.

sry bout the bad quality pics, used my cell phone and it takes what it wants.

framing is still up in the air. been looking @ a couple different builds, and taking idea's from each. may either frame it from the inside with 2"x3" boards. between the glue im using, the screws, and the fact that im going to fiberglass the whole inside and outside with a couple layers, i honestly dont think its going ne where. still not decided 100% tho

thanks! i'l need it! ;)

sponger_2> i will probably end up framing it some how. probably 2x3 boards from the inside. i seen a guy with a 800+ build on youtube do it that way, and it lets me keep a smooth outside. since im going to fiberglass it, and maybe do a thin layer of bondo on it to make it super smooth. then i can have a bodyshop friend of mine paint it some crazy color and it will shine like a brand new car! :D just the outside. the inside has other plans. since its a plywood build with one veiwing window, i will probably make a couple little caves or something on the back/sides. and some other stuff. thats still something in the back of my mind. right now main focus is getting the main tank built!!!
