I'm facing the same issue with my Armatus. However, I managed to train one fish to eat frozen food, but the other two won't look at it. I'll need to try this Thangus trick.

I've had a few and they always end up eating the frozen in the end. They have such a prey drive for food I think they cannot resist. Armatus I found reacted to food going in and struck it, I found the tatts needed it in front of them but would take it then

Putting the food in the flow of a wavemaker worked for me so the food would go across the tank
