why? add that option to the pole if you can kevin.... i was lookin for turbo awd car....

I think only global can fix the poll.

But to answer your question. Both are far too common to me. Don't get me wrong, nice cars, great driveability, respond well to mods, pretty fast. But for the 30 or even 20 thousand I could have a car that's alot sicker looking and stand out more than a STI or EVO.

Even having to finance the car I would spend that 20k-30k on a rwd japanese or european car. G35, 350z, S2000, etc, etc.. Or hell a decent used C5. I know not AWD so you got me there. But if I had to pick either I'd pick STI just because I prefer the styling and I had a 4g63 turbo powered mitsubishi and didn't like it. Just me though.

Added option per request. I think you can get a used C6 for 30,000. You start with 420 HP.

I chose neither. They do absolutely nothing for me.

If i had to choose based on new cars, then EVO by far. It was used ones and you were considering, then i prefer an STI. I just hate the new body style of the STI. For 30K i would be in a nice C5 Z05. But if you need AWD for winter then maybe an Audi S4 or something similar.

g35 is tempting and im looking at them... i believe they are also seat 4 for being a coupe? 350z would be nice but the 2 seater is ideal for me but not practical same with the s200.... i also kinda think we do get snow around here so a rwd drive is not 100% practical but gives me another reason for a truck too... i was thinking 240sx and doing the skyline body conversion... would love a supra but the price of a good used one puts me in new car territory... rotarys would be nice expensive to tune so rx7 and rx8 are out of the question...

kinda looking for somehting nice and fun reliable with good potential...

I believe you're right. 350z I think are 2 seaters. s2000 is a 2 seater as well but just sick when done right and even kinda stock. I don't have kids or alot of passengers so for me I never think about that.

G35 coupe I believe is a 4 seater. But how practical of one I'm not sure. There are alot of 4 seater cars that have little backseat leg room and are virtually 2 seaters. G35x could be an option. It's 4 door, 5 seater I think. It's AWD using the FX45 AWD system uses the 3.5 v6 like it's sister cars. If the AWD system holds up to turbo'ing then a AWD G35x turbo'd would be a stupidly sick car. If I had to finance a newer car under 20k I would buy a few year old G35. Just great lines to me.

If you do 240sx forget trying to make it look like a skyline. 240sx is smaller, has differently shaped fenders, etc. So it really can't without a whole skyline to grab all the body panels from. And it would have to be a GTR donor car as GTS and GTR have different shaped fenders I believe. Vertex Wide Body is about the best kit you can get for the S14 240sx.

With cars like fishkeeping you can go from mild to wild. Just pends how much $ and time you have. GL

Since you're getting into cars now. Probably the best Import car vid I've seen, makes you want to go out and drive @12am: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPmjMfbb9Q0
