My bolt on Jetta walks G35/37s...just saying.

Get a real car and go with the EVO. Can't go wrong with either, but get into both and see which you like best. Both cars have their quirks. Personally, I can't get over the bread box on the STI hood, nor do I care for the paper thing roof. Evo is a stout ride and once you throw some money at it, will walk the vast majority of cars on the road.

^^ Probably true. I'm guessing stock G35's/37's. And jetta's, other FWD's are cool. And have their place in the tuning world. I actually dig golf's.

I was talking with future plans for serious upgrades/and the potential there within. Even throwing the looks aside. Most mediocre turbo kits make 400whp at 6psi.. Which is low not even 1 bar.

Something about G35 pics like this do it for me..

Sorry for derailing nic.

I believe you're right. 350z I think are 2 seaters. s2000 is a 2 seater as well but just sick when done right and even kinda stock. I don't have kids or alot of passengers so for me I never think about that.

its not kids... but i got good amount of friends so 2 seats wont work... when me and the old lady have kids she wouldnt let them in any car i built up LOL but i have seen a few built up s2000 that were awesome and rode in a tuned 350z that blew my mind away...

G35 coupe I believe is a 4 seater. But how practical of one I'm not sure. There are alot of 4 seater cars that have little backseat leg room and are virtually 2 seaters. G35x could be an option. It's 4 door, 5 seater I think. It's AWD using the FX45 AWD system uses the 3.5 v6 like it's sister cars. If the AWD system holds up to turbo'ing then a AWD G35x turbo'd would be a stupidly sick car. If I had to finance a newer car under 20k I would buy a few year old G35. Just great lines to me.

if i went g35 it would have to be used im too poor for new...

i am looking into this but used they are still $$$

If you do 240sx forget trying to make it look like a skyline. 240sx is smaller, has differently shaped fenders, etc. So it really can't without a whole skyline to grab all the body panels from. And it would have to be a GTR donor car as GTS and GTR have different shaped fenders I believe. Vertex Wide Body is about the best kit you can get for the S14 240sx.

ill dig up the links they make nice jdm body kits for the 240sx... skyline might not have been the best wording for it...

With cars like fishkeeping you can go from mild to wild. Just pends how much $ and time you have. GL

i used to build mustangs up... i got a 347 stroker and a few other small blocks sitting in storage waiting for something special im thinking tuner for slightly better gas millage lol

Since you're getting into cars now. Probably the best Import car vid I've seen, makes you want to go out and drive @12am:

always been a huge car buff.... now im just looking into a world a little different from what im used too... ive done up civics and accords with friends and there fun but no drifting... built a gti with a buddy a few years back that was insane till he put 30psi to the motor and blew it to pieces...

watched that vid before forgot about it thanks for the link :)

STI for various reason's 305 HP turbo boxer engine which is perfectly symmetrical to the car causing no imbalance of weight. Can take corner's like mad with no under-steer or over-steer can go through anything with Subaru's AWD which is unparall to any other it is often imitated but never duplicated. P.S. I worked for Subaru and they not only stand to there reputation but have a better market resell value then any other car brand even Honda.

If you go w/ the Infinity, get the G35, not the new G37. I think they're ugly compared to the G35...

they are ugly...

i dont like the new STI that hatch thing is as ugly as sin... the older ones i do like... but i have been hearing there engines dont take to upgrades and are prone to blowing... this has been considering the evo..

If we are talking used cars then the evo all the way.

The 4g63 engine has been in production since the 80's in the 1g awd mitsu's,eagles, etc. And the internals have been virtually unchanged. So that means if you were to get serious with the Hp and start breaking stuff, you can get parts cheap. And the aftermarket backing for the evo is way better than the sti.

And if the sti ever had to go to the shop to get repairs the cost is outrageous. Porshe boxer engines are not cheap to maintain etheir.

I do alot of racing and allways look at a performance car with that in mind. And racing and modifing means breaking things from time to time.

But if it was a new car then I might wait a few years until they get the bugs worked out on mitsu's new platform or buy a sti.

What model evo are you looking at?? I'd probably pick an evo over an sti with the newer models, but I do have a bit of a soft spot for the two door subarus..
